1. Explore Scary Plants

Date: Through November 15th

Location: Franklin Park Conservatory: Columbus, OH

Creepy and curious carnivorous plants are taking over Franklin Park Conservatory. This is your chance to visit an old cemetery and an abandoned greenhouse on display, all to explore through November 15th.

 

2. Gifts of the Craftsmen

Date: November 8th-December 23rd

Location: Ohio Craft Museum: Grandview, OH

Cost: Free

This annual holiday show is one of best places to purchase unique and handcrafted gifts for the holidays. This year’s show features over 90 artists from across the U.S., featuring everything from jewelry to hand-carved utensils to stunning ceramic pottery.

 

3. Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Date: November 20th

Location: Easton Town Center

Cost: Free

Get in the holiday spirit and watch Easton light up. This special day features a parade, a tree lighting ceremony, and special deals across the shopping center!

 

4. Blue Jackets Vs. Canucks

Date: November 10th

Location: Nationwide Arena: Columbus, OH

Cost: $10-$170

Tis the season for some serious ice hockey. Come out and support Columbus’s own Blue Jackets as they faceoff the Vancouver Canucks!

 

5. Super Sunday-In the Style of Pablo Picasso

Date: November 1st

Location: Wexner Center for the Arts: Columbus, OH

Cost: Free

In homage to the Wexner Center’s current show, After Picasso, this Super Sunday event encourages little ones to create art in the style of Pablo Picasso. Adults can take a free gallery tour of the exhibition as well.
