This month it will officially be spring! So say goodbye to the frigid winter weather and start your month out right. Get the whole family out of the house as it starts to warm up outside and enjoy all of the activities Central Ohio has to offer. Here are five things going on near you this month.

Ellis Paul in Concert With Antje Duvekot

When: March 6

Gather some friends and head out to Shedd Theater at the Columbus Performing Arts Center to hear one of the greatest performing songwriters, who created a movement that revitalized the national acoustic circuit with an urban, literate and folk pop style.

Columbus Dances Fellowship Concert

When: March 6-7

Admission: Free

If you’re not busy and looking for an exciting way to spend your evening, head out to the Columbus Dance Theatre’s Fisher Theatre to witness the beauty of dance. Local dancers will show off their moves at the annual concert.

Carpe Diem String Quartet’s Free Family Concerts

When: March 8

Admission: Free

Gather the whole family and make your way out to the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center for an afternoon of free family fun that you won’t soon forget. All ages are welcome at this hand-on entertaining experience.

McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra

When: March 22

Admission: $12 – $25

Make your way out to the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center of Worthington for a musical experience like no other. Under the direction of Antoine T. Clark, the orchestra will perform classical pieces in the intimate setting of our Bronwynn Theatre.

2015 Columbus Spring Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show

When: March 28

Admission: $3

Enjoy a day out of the house with friends or the whole family. The show will feature around one hundred artists and crafters selling their beautiful and original handmade items.
