Things to do in Central Ohio – January Welcome to the new year! You went out with a bang, now bring in 2015 with fun and adventure for the whole family. No matter what type of mood you’re in, there is an event for you. Here are a few things happening in Central Ohio this month.

Don’t have plans for NYE yet? No problem! Grab your friends or your significant other and make your way out to the NorthPointe Hotel and Conference Center for a New Year’s Eve celebration you’ll never forget!
When: January 3

Kick off the new year with a murder mystery at Shane’s Dinner Theatre. It will be held in the 1950’s time period at Mountain Valley High School’s Sock Hop. There will be plenty of poodle skirts, jukeboxes and 50’s fun facts!
When: January 9
Gather a group of friends and make your way out to Camelot Cellars Winery for an evening of extreme laughter and entertainment. This particular comedy showcase will feature local wines, as well as local comedians.

Grab the whole family and head out to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for an afternoon of family fun. Where did all the animals go? is an educational experience for kids to hear about where the animals go in the winter.
When: January 22
Head out to Grandview Heights Public Library to hear about the adventures of Kathy Simcox through England, including the southwest coast, London, Cambridge University, the Peak District, and Canterbury – it will make you want to have an adventure of your own!
