It’s officially summer and the kids will be home from school for about three months. Whether you’re looking for a way to keep them occupied, or a creative date night out with your spouse (sans children), you will have no trouble finding options in the area. Here are five things to do in Central Ohio this month.
When: June 6 – 7
It’s that time of year again! The time to get out on the town on a beautiful summer night with friends. Head out to Park Street in downtown Columbus and drink and party the night away.
When: June 7
Admission: $6 – $12
Gather the whole family and head out to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden for an afternoon of family fun. You will all be able to enjoy an afternoon of a thrilling summer scavenger hunt like no other.
When: June 7
Whether you love flowers, or love someone who loves flowers, this will be a great event for you to attend. Head out to the Whetstone Park of Roses to literally stop and smell the roses.
When: June 21
Gather the family for this one-of-a-kind experience. You will have the opportunity to experience the river during the calm of the night. You won’t see stars like you do in the city – there will be a lot more, and they will be brighter!
When: June 27 – 28
Gather the whole entire family and a group of friends and head out to Downtown Powell for the annual Powell Festival. This event will be full of musical performance, merchant displays, food vendors, and so much more!
