Short North Arts District Gallery Hop

When: March 1st, 2014 [4-10PM]

Where: Short North Arts District [North High Street From Goodale Blvd to Fifth Ave]

What: Occurs every first Saturday of each month, thousands of visitors converge on the strip to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art.

Arnold Sports Festival

When: February 27th – March 2nd [4-10PM]

Admission: $15 EXPO ticket or $10 in advance. An EXPO ticket provides admission to Fitness EXPO and most sport events.

What: The Arnold Sports Festival, co-produced by former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, is the largest multi-sport festival in the nation, during which the city welcomes more than 175,000 sports and fitness fans. The event features 18,000 athletes competing in 50 sports and events, including 14 Olympic sports. The three-day Arnold Fitness EXPO at the Greater Columbus Convention Center features more than 700 exhibit booths offering the latest in fitness apparel, equipment, training tools and nutrition.

Family Fun St. Patrick’s Day

Where: Franklin Park Conservatory [1777 E Broad Street, Columbus OH 43203]

Admission: $6-$12

What: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a craft that includes planting a good-luck shamrock.

Broadway in Columbus: The Phantom of the Opera

When: March 5th-16th, 2014

Where: Ohio Theatre [39 E State Street, Columbus OH 43215]

What: Following an acclaimed sell-out tour of the United Kingdom, Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s phenomenal musical success, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, will make its premiere in Columbus as part of a brand new US National Tour.

Hours: Thursday-Friday noon-9 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m

Pitchers and Pizza Tour

Family Friday Night

Where: COSI [333 W Broad St, Columbus OH 43215]

What: COSI offers extended hours and price reduced admission to families so you can visit, learn, and play late! Includes all of COSI’s permanent exhibitions plus a movie on the 7 story Extreme Screen theater. Watch and participate in learning about science in a fun way through hands on activities and demonstrations.
